$AMPG $IONQ The quantum story is changing—and that’s what caught my attention.
For years, quantum computing was viewed as a science experiment with unlimited potential but no clear commercial path.
Today, the conversation is different.
IonQ CEO Niccolo De Masi isn’t talking about research anymore. He’s talking about engineering, manufacturing, scaling, and building real-world infrastructure. That’s a major shift in narrative.
The companies that dominate the next decade won’t just invent breakthrough technology—they’ll be the ones that successfully manufacture it, deploy it, and build an ecosystem around it.
What also stands out is the mention of space-based optical links. Quantum is no longer just about faster computers. It’s becoming part of a much bigger vision that includes secure communications, AI, defense, cloud infrastructure, and next-generation networks.
Stocks I’m watching in the quantum ecosystem:
🔷
$IONQ – A leader in trapped-ion quantum computing with a growing focus on commercial applications and global partnerships.
🔷
$RGTI – Rigetti Computing, advancing superconducting quantum systems and benefiting from increasing government investment.
🔷
$QBTS – D-Wave Quantum, specializing in quantum annealing for optimization problems already used by enterprise customers.
🔷
$QUBT – Quantum Computing Inc., developing integrated photonics and quantum networking technologies.
🔷
$AMPG – AmpliTech Group, providing high-performance RF and microwave technologies that support advanced communications and aerospace applications.
The bigger picture
The AI revolution transformed software.
The quantum revolution could transform drug discovery, financial modeling, cybersecurity, logistics, defense, materials science, and space communications.
Most people will wait until revenues are mature and Wall Street is comfortable. By then, much of the exponential upside may already be behind us.
Of course, this remains a high-risk sector with volatility and execution challenges, but history shows that the biggest wealth creation often comes from identifying paradigm shifts before they become obvious.
My long-term watchlist:
⚛️
$IONQ
⚛️
$RGTI

$QBTS

$QUBT
⚛️
$AMPG
The future won’t be built by companies that simply observe technological change.
It will be built by the companies creating the infrastructure that defines the next generation of computing.
