That's a wrap. Thanks
@flutterflow for another great FFDC.
Headline stats:
- 250m users using apps built on FF
- 3.5m FF users
- 20k apps deployed in the last year
- 35k new users per week
And most importantly (maybe!),
@Flywheel_Studio won agency of the year for the 3rd year in a row!
Lots of new product announcements. The tl;dr is FF is tackling two issues at the same time:
1. New users have higher expectations. Why learn FF when you can vibe code?
They're launching Designer and FF Lite to help new users get started.
2. When you have an existing app in FF, how do you interact with it using AI?
They're launching an MCP server that'll allow you to interact with your FF project.
The behind scenes - everyone's talking about AI. Opus 4.8 dropped. Everyone's talking about how FF competes against vibe coding platforms.
It's going to be an interesting future and we have a pretty strong opinion, but that's for another time.
Right now, let's celebrate the win!
