Because I used the word "radical" below in my response to
@findingdory in an incomplete phrase, some CHARLATANS out there (DESPITE THE FACT THAT they understand very well what I really meant in the context of what my follower was talking about, namely getting rid of the NEOLIBERAL SYSTEM AND THE EPSTEIN CLASS) DELIBERATELY twist what I meant to say here.
Certainly I should have said "Jeffrey Sachs is a liberal SYSTEM reformer, not a RADICAL LEFT dissident / revolutionary" (rather than just saying "not a radical dissident")
Based on the context of our discussion about getting rid of the neoliberal system and the Epstein class, WHAT I MEANT by "radical" is obvious. HOWEVER, HERE IS A CLARIFICATION FOR THE CHARLATANS OUT THERE:
Both REFORMERS and RADICALS want to change the system but they differ in how much change they want and how they want to achieve it.
Reformers want to improve the existing system gradually rather than replace it. They work within institutions (government, laws, elections, negotiations). They favor incremental change. They believe problems will be solved if systems can be improved. (ie "Lets stop the Nato expansion" rather than "lets dismantle Nato altogether")
Radicals, on the other hand work for major fundamental, STRUCTURAL TRANSFORMATION. "Radical" comes from the Latin "radix" -- which means "root". Radicals attack the ROOTS of a problem or a SYSTEM.
But with no question, there can be LEFT RADICALS and RIGHT RADICALS.
Left-wing radicals seek fundamental change toward greater equality, redistribution, or transformation of economic/social structures.
Examples:
-Revolutionary socialism or communism
-Abolishing capitalism
-Anti-colonial revolutionary movements
-Some anarchist movements
Right-wing radicals seek fundamental change in a rightward direction:
Examples:
-Ultra-nationalist / racist movements
-Revolutionary monarchism
-Fascism and some far-right movements
-Movements seeking to radically reshape society around religious or ethnic principles (ie "Radical islamists")
So, in conclusion, in the context of my dear follower who was talking about the obligation of Jeffrey Sachs to transform the neoliberal system WITH THE INFLUENTIAL PLATFORM HE HAS in order not to be in bed with the Epstein class, I kindly reminded her that Sachs is a system REFORMER, not a Radical dissident but I should CERTAINLY have written "not a radical leftwing revolutionary/ dissident" since I gave the example of DAVID HARVEY.
YOU understand all this very well
@Glenn_Diesen but nonetheless you apply the word "radical" to Kaja Kallas scum to make me look like someone who approves Russophobic cockroaches like her. Kallas scum is neither a leftwing radical nor a right wing radical , she is an EXTREMIST RUSSOPHOBE. Russia too calls Russophobia an EXTREMISM in all its legal and institutional documents. We do not call her a "radical".
Next time you have a problem with something I said, you can HONESTLY come to my page and say "Sophia , it would be more clear if you said 'radical left revolutionary'" RATHER than PRETENDING I DO NOT EXIST AND playing evil games on your page.

Jeffrey Sachs is a liberal SYSTEM reformer, not a RADICAL dissident (ie David Harvey). I think if we depart from this fact, we can manage our expectations better vis a vis him.
Like, for a long time, Sachs did not say anything about the fact that NATO has to be dismantled and I criticized him on my page, and I think he is looking at my page too, and finally in March 2025, on Soloviev's show he said Nato has to be dismantled. But make no mistake: he will not say it every day. He will say Nato should not have been expanded up to Russia's door step, he will say "no Nato membership to Ukraine" but he will not say "NATO HAS TO GO" or "Death to Nato" every day.
That is why I defined him for you as "a very powerful man IN THE AMERICAN ESTABLISHMENT". Sachs is not anti-establishment.
All this being said: Life is not ALL THEORETICAL SOPHISTICATION. AND YES, I HATE PRAGMATISM TOO. But as someone who has been LABORING OVER RUSSIA- US relations for more than a decade, I am not complaining that we have a friend like Jeffrey Sachs inside the American establishment.
I do not want to associate him with Epstein sewage even remotely -- no matter what.
