This includes, for example, amputations of three limbs or loss of sight with the loss of limbs. These people need new methods of rehabilitation and recovery," says Vadym Svyrydenko, Ambassador of the Citizen Charity Foundation and Presidential Commissioner for Rehabilitation of Combatants. Citizens Charity Foundation joins its efforts with Zakhidnyi Rehabilitation And Sports Centre Of The National Committee For Sports For The Disabled People Of Ukraine to provide help to the defenders who need a lengthy rehabilitation, with the purpose of returning them back to independent active life. An average rehabilitation course at the Zakhidnyi Centre lasts 30 days and costs UAH 90,000.
