DevOps for Beginners [Day 2]
Foundational skills you need before DevOps
Cloud, networking, and Linux knowledge form the foundations of DevOps because they enable efficient, scalable, and automated development and operations workflows. A DevOps practitioner with expertise in these areas can effectively design, deploy, and manage robust, scalable, and highly available systems.
There are so many skills that a typical DevOps job posting will require you to know. In fact, if you are getting started, you'll be told that you need to learn a lot of skills. While that is right, jumping into DevOps without the core / foundational skills makes it difficult to achieve your milestone fast.
1. Learn the basics of Computer Networking
2. Learn the concepts of cloud computing and pick a provider to get familiar with.
3. Learn about Linux and how to use the terminal
