After 17 years as a dedicated Apple user; invested deeply in the ecosystem across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and more, I'm seriously reconsidering my loyalty due to ongoing quality decline in software updates. The IOS 18.4 update (and its pattern across recent releases) has introduced severe, usability-breaking issues on my iPhone: 1) Extreme slowdowns and lag that render the device completely unusable at times. 2) Persistent screen flickering, especially during brightness changes or scrolling. 3) Ghost touches/random app launches w/out any user input. 4) Rapid battery drains and occasional overheating, even with moderate use. These aren't isolated, thousands of users reported similar problems last year, including resurrected deleted apps, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth drops, CarPlay failures, and background app instability. While iOS 18.4.1 address some bugs, many issues linger for long-time customers like me. On top of this, official engagement on platforms like X feels nonexistent. Repeated feedback goes unanswered, leaving the impression that Apple's priority has shifted away from supporting existing users. I don't want to switch ecosystems, I've built my digital life around Apple, but this level of regression is pushing me (and many others) to that point. 自己レスで失礼します。 edyチャージの暫定回避がわかりました。 私のiPhoneSE2の場合、約3cmの距離で残高確認、チャージがほぼ以前と同じようにできる事を確認しました。 これ以上でも以下でもダメだったので、スマホチャージ問題はとりあえず回避です。 元々はiPhone上部にedyカードピタッとつけるのが本来なので、早く修正パッチ出て欲しいです。 今回のiOS18.4.1リリース以降間が空いているので、もしかしたら容量の大きなパッチになるかもしれないですね。 #iOS184 #edy #edyチャージ
