when was IITH properly set up with permanent campus and where does it rank amongst IITs pan-India? that was a meteoric rise if we really dont care about ranking in india/global indices, no reason at all to set up any institution in any metro cities.

CSIR is a legal mandate from the Sonia era, meant to fund NGOs. Nowadays every babu, and every Head of HR in the private sector, has an NGO, which grab all CSR money. While it is now *permissible* to use CSR to fund R&D, in practice none of it goes to R&D. I know from IITH.

That’s not true, Databricks hires a lot. They are open only for circuital branches (or CS related only). They hired 5 in 200 applicants in IITH and this is very good num considering the num of companies and how many other companies offer. This is only 5th highest in IITH btw

That guy just copied from reddit. I have data, you can ask me the branch. For MTech CSE, ~28L CTC average, 24L median with ~86% placement percentage. EE median is 32L with 75% placement percentage Remember IITH has many self sponsored students, so these stats are great.
