“Once in a blue moon” usually means something rare. 🌕💫 But at ispace-U.S., we are working towards a future with reliable, high-frequency access to the Moon, taking lunar missions from “rare” to “routine”. A Blue Moon occurs when two Full Moons fall within a single calendar month, and this special occurrance is a reminder of how the Moon continues to inspire exploration and wonder. As momentum grows across the U.S. space sector, we’re excited to be part of the effort to expand access to cislunar space and help build a sustainable lunar economy for the future. If skies are clear where you are, enjoy tonight's Blue Moon! #ispaceUS #BlueMoon #Moon #LunarExploration #SpaceIndustry #SpaceExploration

🌖 Our next mission targets the Schrödinger Basin, a scientifically significant region near the south pole on the Moon's far side. 🌋 The basis is one of the few locations on the Moon with evidence of recent volcanic activity. 🔬 By going there and collecting samples, scientists will be able to learn more about the evolution and composition of the Moon's mantle and uncover secrets about lunar geology that could impact future activity on the Moon. The mission will be equipped with scientific payloads, including a seismometer, an electromagnetic experiment to measure the Moon's magnetic field, and a drill to gather data on heat flow and electrical conductivity. Learn more about our upcoming mission from here! ispace-us.com/mission-3/ 📸 By NASA (image by Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter) #SchrodingerBasin #LunarScience #ispace #ispaceUS #LunarExploration

Testing is in progress! The ispace-U.S. payload team, @DraperLab, @NASA Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) office, and the @NASAJPL team had conducted the Farside Seismic Suite (FSS) Radio Frequency (RF) Compatibility Testing at the ispace-U.S. Avionics Development Lab. The testing was to verify that the radios on Alpine and Lupine, ispace-U.S.’s relay satellites, can communicate properly with FSS's radio. The testing allowed Team Draper to verify the communication links between ispace-U.S.’s relay satellite radio and NASA’s FSS radio and mitigate future risks. We are thrilled to advance our mission to the next step and grateful for the teamwork! #ispace #ispaceUS #TeamDraper #NASA #CLPS
