HE WOULDDD I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT THIS…. complaining about waking up early for practices but still kicking ass… always helping tighten the lanelines and roll the tarps… taking off his goggles and scrubbing his hands through his wet hair until it’s sticking up all funny

Our staff did the @Gallup CliftonStrengths analysis and went over it today. Always interesting to see where our strengths and potential weaknesses are as a staff. My top 5 were 📈: 1. Competition 2. Strategic 3. Futuristic 4. Individualization 5. Significance My Bottom 5 were 📉: 30. Context 31. Positivity 32. Woo 33. Developer 34. Discipline ChatGPT suggested jobs based off these strengths: Sales Manager, Business Owner, Success Coach, Consultant...Coaching seems to be a bit of all of that. I would also say my strengths test is probably influenced by how coaching has shaped me over the years. I took this same strengths test almost a decade ago and was really interesting to see that only two (futuristic and competitor) were in my top 5 back then and how many things have shifted significantly. I guess over the last decade I have become a purpose driven competitor that can be kind of cranky and strategically focuses on the future?!? 😂 LANELINES newsletter post coming at some point talking overing this!

#lastnightasamacconfessions Throwback to when i fell in the br pool freshman year in full uniform when putting in lanelines… it was hung up on the back of a chair and the whole 2 hr practice donna and i watched it drip. it was snowing too… tony laughed tho🤷‍♀️

Personally I have liked to push nail and play packline defense when we had smaller teams because the help would come outside 15’. With longer teams I like to push baseline because the help is coming with more length at the lanelines.

I literally would check my fingernails every time I smacked/caught my fingers in the lanelines cause I swear, every single time, it felt like I was gonna look down and see that my nail(s) was completely ripped off… they never were, but the pain never convinced me otherwise

This is making me feel a lot of things because I (as a swimmer) always cut my nails short just cause I hate chipping them on walls and the lanelines I’ve even given up on painting them and I just can’t stand them being long at all! But damn Atsumu takes that to another level’
