Most people think a browser is simple.
You type a website.
You press enter.
You see the page.
That is what it looks like.
That is not what actually happens.
The browser starts reading HTML.
It builds a structure in memory.
That structure is called the DOM.
Every element becomes a node.
Every node becomes part of a tree.
Then the browser creates a render tree.
This tree contains only visible elements.
Hidden elements are ignored.
Only what matters is processed.
After that, layout begins.
The browser calculates size and position.
Every pixel gets a place on the screen.
Nothing is random here.
Then comes painting.
Colors are applied to each element.
Text appears on the screen.
Images are drawn in place.
Everything you see is built step by step.
All of this happens in milliseconds.
You think it is instant.
It is actually a process.
A precise process.
A controlled process.
This is not just loading a page.
This is how the browser works.

Itβs a layout container used to hold text, images, buttons, forms β literally anything.
On its own, it looks plain⦠but with CSS, it becomes cards, headers, footers, sections & more.
