For the #FaceOfLiberation we searched for a face that spoke to the Island’s experience of Occupation. The chosen portrait is of #BarbaraJouanny, captured by the occupying German forces for her identity card when she was 12 years old. #Lib75 @ArtHouseJersey

As part of the official celebrations of #Lib75, @ArtHouseJersey commissioned @PeoplesPicture to create a giant photo mosaic. The final 'Face of Liberation’ is Barbara Jouanny, captured for her identity card when she was a 12 year old child.
