【I Still Wrote d=0 First】 A student asked: 'Teacher, you always say zero is beautiful. But this year's Gaokao Question 7 had no zero at all.' I still wrote d=0 first. Maybe difficult problems aren't solved by calculating more, but by returning to the most balanced state first. #Gaokao #MathThinking #Gaokao #MathThinking #MathTeacher #Education #ShareTheBeautyOfMath

The Unification of 3 Branches of Mathematical Thinking Today, let’s break down how algebra, geometry, calculus gradually unify into a complete thinking system. Algebra defines logic, Geometry reveals structure, Calculus governs change. Why can the 3 be unified? Because they share the same origin, same structure, same path. Same Origin: Numbers & shapes have always shared the same root. Ancient land surveying (geometry) & harvest calculation (algebra) were originally one. Descartes’ coordinate system proved: algebraic equations & geometric figures are just 2 languages for the same reality. Same Structure: Calculus infuses the soul of "change", setting static numbers & shapes in motion, achieving unification in describing the dynamic world. Same Path: Deep in modern math, they merge structurally, collectively pointing to the ultimate mathematical reality. Number, shape, change are inherently one, differing only in expression. From discrete to concrete, static to flowing, they progress layer by layer, ultimately returning to one. 3 branches converge, originating from the same source & uniting as one. A simple analogy: Algebra = the skeleton Geometry = the form Calculus = the vitality Skeleton form vitality = a complete human being — this is the 3-in-1 unification. Unified mathematical formula for the 3-in-1: ∇²Ψ − (1/c²) ∂²Ψ/∂t² = 0 Limited by personal knowledge, oversights are inevitable. #MathThinking #AdvancedMath #EduSharing

Every complicated integral is hiding a simple idea. This one looks wild, but a smart substitution makes everything fall into place. Train your eyes to see structure, and math becomes art. Comment answer ⬇️ #MathThinking #Integration #Calculus #maths #problem #logic

✏️ Subtraction math centres in action! Today, we used the base ten model on the iPad app to subtract 2-digit numbers. It got tricky when we had to regroup—exchanging a ten for ten ones made us think! A great first step in mastering this strategy. #MathThinking #Regrouping

🧠💡 Fact fluency fun today! We created our own "Splats" after exploring @SteveWyborney's Splat lessons. ➕➖ Partners used math talk to strengthen addition & subtraction up to 20—spotting doubles, near doubles, compensation & counting on! #MathThinking #BrainyBunch #SplatMath

🎉 Big numbers, big thinkers! Our #Grade2BrainyBunch is diving into numbers up to 200! 💡 Using base ten blocks, we've been showing numbers in multiple ways, finding them on the 200 chart, and practising writing them in words. ✏️💯 Math minds in action! #MathThinking #NumberSense

After reading Alberta Doubles the Fun we reviewed our knowledge of double facts with a fun problem. I have the same number of goldfish as I have fighting fish. I have no more then 30 fish. How many of each could I have? #thinkingclassroom #doublesfacts #maththinking
