■ [Memory Technique 14] Theme: Kurita-Style Memory Method — “Memory Balls and Location Memory” ■ Place a transparent sphere on your palm. By depicting within it a single scene from an important event, you create a “memory ball.” Next, place this ball at a memorable spot in the garden before you. By doing so, you use location memory to store the memory ball firmly within your mental landscape. ■ Video (1) A right hand appears floating in the air, holding a transparent sphere about 10-plus centimeters in diameter. It resembles a soap bubble, reflecting a bit of the blue sky and garden. You are standing in the garden. (2) Inside the transparent ball, you depict a white poodle and a person (yourself) taking a walk. This sphere becomes the memory ball, with the imagery faintly visible through it. (3) The hand holding the memory ball extends several meters forward toward the garden (this is a virtual hand). (4) The memory ball is placed securely onto a small garden table. The hand disappears, leaving only the ball. This spot becomes the designated memory location. ■ (Click the image to view the full frame) made by Kurita Sora #KuritaMethod #MemoryTechnique #MemoryBall #LocationMemory #VirtualHand

■ Memory Technique (15): Creating “Memory Spheres.” ■ Gather your past memories into clear, transparent spheres and place them in an external garden-like space. By observing them there, you can make each memory more vivid. ■ In the video, I created three Memory Spheres: “Family Time,” “Exercise,” and “Work.” ■ The important point is not simply creating these spheres—it is what you do with them afterward. ■ I will discuss that part on another occasion. #KuritaMethod #AbilityDevelopment #MemoryTechnique #Imagination #ImagingPower #SpatialMemory #MemorySphere #MemoryBall

■ Memory Technique (14) The Kurita Method of Memory has 52 techniques. Among them, the “M-method” is called the Metamorphose Method. ■ This time, I introduce the 11th basic practice of this method. Using the attached video as a reference, please vividly imagine the transformation from “inu = dog” → “inoshishi = boar.” By picturing the dog continuously changing its form into a boar—that is, transforming or metamorphosing—you will develop the imaging sense that supports this memory technique. (Click the image to view the full frame.) ■ Please create a step-by-step and continuous transformation from dog to boar. Stage 1: The image of a dog. Start. Stage 2: The boar–dog stage.  The dog begins to show features of a boar, but the dog is still dominant. Stage 3: The dog–boar stage.  A boar that still retains some dog-like features. The boar is now dominant. Stage 4: It becomes a pure boar. End. ■ Comment: Unfortunately, in this video the continuous transitions typical of metamorphosis are not very clear. Please view it with the above concept in mind. ■ (Click the image to see the full vertical frame.)       made by Kurita Sora ■ This exercise reinforces the relationship between “dog and boar (戌と猪)”—the 11th pair of the 12 zodiac animals. #KuritaMethod #AbilityDevelopment #MemoryTechnique #Imagination #ImagingSkills #SpatialMemory #Zodiac

■ Memory Technique (12) The Kurita-style Memory Method consists of 52 techniques. Among them, the M-method is called the “Metamorphose Method.” ■ Today, I introduce the 10th basic practice of this method. Using the attached video as a reference, visualize vividly the metamorphosis from “Monkey (申)” → “Rooster (酉)”—that is, the continuous transformation of a monkey into a rooster. Through this exercise, let’s cultivate the imaging sense that forms the foundation of this memory method. (Click the image to see the full frame.) ■ Please transform the Monkey into the Rooster step by step, continuously: Stage 1 ■ The “Monkey” image. Start. Stage 2 ■ The “Rooster–Monkey” stage. A monkey begins to show the features of a rooster. The monkey is still dominant. Stage 3 ■ The “Monkey–Rooster” stage. A rooster that still retains some monkey characteristics. Now the rooster is dominant. Stage 4 ■ It becomes a pure “Rooster.” End. ■ The entire process takes about 10 seconds. ■ This example strengthens the association of the 8th pair of the Twelve Zodiac signs: Monkey (申) and Rooster (酉). #KuritaMethod #AbilityDevelopment #MemoryTechnique #Imagination #ImagingSkill #SpatialMemory #Zodiac

■ Memory Technique (11) In the Kurita-Style Memory Method, there are 52 techniques. One of them is the M-method, called the “Metamorphose Method.” ■ Today’s post introduces the 9th basic practice of this method. Using the attached video as a reference, try to vividly imagine the metamorphosis from “Sheep = 未 = Hitsujii” to “Monkey = 申 = Saru”—that is, a continuous transformation in which a sheep gradually changes into a monkey. This exercise helps develop the imaging sense that supports memory techniques. (Click the image to view the full frame.) ■ Please create a step-by-step, continuous transformation from sheep to monkey: Stage 1 ■ The image of the Sheep. Start. Stage 2 ■ The Sheep-Monkey stage. A sheep begins to show monkey-like features. The sheep remains the main form. Stage 3 ■ The Monkey-Sheep stage. A monkey that still retains some sheep characteristics. The monkey is now the main form. Stage 4 ■ A fully formed Monkey. End. ■ The entire sequence takes about 10 seconds. ■ This practice strengthens the connection between the 7th pair of the Twelve Zodiac Animals: Sheep (未) and Monkey (申). #KuritaStyle #AbilityDevelopment #MemoryTechnique #Imagination #ImagingSkill #SpatialMemory #Zodiac

■ Memory Technique (7) The Kurita Memory Method consists of 52 techniques. Among them, the “M Method” is called the Metamorphose Method. ■ This time, we introduce the fourth basic training exercise of this method. ■ Refer to the attached video and vividly imagine the transformation process: “Rabbit → Dragon (🐉)” — Visualize the rabbit continuously transforming into a dragon. ■ By using your imagination to depict this vividly, you will strengthen the imaging sense that supports effective memory techniques. (Click the image to view the full frame vertically.) ■ Gradually and continuously, let the rabbit transform into a dragon: First, scales appear on its body, fins form along its back, long whiskers and horns emerge on its face, its ears shrink, its body elongates, it begins to float in the air, and all traces of the rabbit disappear — turning into a dynamic dragon soaring through the valley. ■ This is a process of about 30 seconds. ■ This example reinforces the connection of the fourth pair in the Chinese zodiac sequence: Rabbit–Dragon (卯・辰). #KuritaMethod #SkillDevelopment #MemoryTechnique #Imagination #ImagingPower #SpatialMemory #ChineseZodiac

■ Memory Technique (6) There are 52 techniques in the Kurita Method of Memory Training. Among them, the M-method is called the “Metamorphose Method.” ■ This time, we introduce the third basic exercise of this method. Using the attached video as a reference, vividly imagine the transformation from a tiger to a rabbit — that is, the process in which a tiger continuously changes its form and metamorphoses into a rabbit. ■ Through this exercise, you will cultivate the imaging sense that supports memory techniques. ■ Try to make the change from tiger to rabbit both gradual and continuous. ■ First, the tiger’s appearance begins to show rabbit ears, its expression softens, its majestic movement disappears, its body becomes smaller, and finally, the tiger’s stripes fade away, turning it completely into a rabbit. ■ This example strengthens the connection between the third pair of the Chinese zodiac — the Tiger and the Rabbit (Tora-Usagi, 虎兎). #KuritaMethod #HumanPotential #MemoryTechnique #Imagination #SpatialMemory #Zodiac

■  Memory Technique (2): Organizing Important Memories by Placing “Memory Spheres” in a Garden ■  In a previous post (see below), I introduced: Memory Technique (1): Storing experiences in transparent spheres and resizing them This involves: ① Placing an experience into a transparent sphere ② Expanding or shrinking the sphere We call this process “memory sphering”, and the resulting spheres “memory balls” or “memory spheres.” ■  Now, let’s take it further: 1️⃣ First, transform your key past experiences into concise “memory spheres.” 2️⃣ Then, arrange them in your “favorite park” in an orderly way to organize your memories. 3️⃣ Adjust the size of each sphere to match its location in the park—this enhances the impression and recallability. ■  Your “favorite park” can be an imagined one, but using a real park strengthens the memory, as physical movement and observation enhance recall. ■  This technique is part of the “Space Method”, one of the 52 methods in the Kurita Memory System. #KuritaMethod #MemoryTechnique #SpaceMethod #Imagination #ObservationSkills #MemorySphering   #MemoryBalls #MemorySpace #CognitiveDevelopment [Reference] x.com/kurita88/status/189522…

■ Memory Technique (1): Storing experiences in transparent spheres and resizing them. ■ Today, let’s explore a fundamental technique for enhancing memory. This involves: ① Encapsulating experiences inside transparent spheres ② Expanding and shrinking these spheres at will ■ We call this process “Memory Rounding”, and the resulting spheres are “Memory Spheres” or “Memory Balls.” Let’s practice with three examples: ■🔹 Imagine a scene where the sky stretches across the upper half and a lush green garden fills the lower half. In the sky, three transparent spheres float like soap bubbles. Each sphere contains a different memory: 1️⃣ Family Time – A joyful moment with parents and a small child (one of them being you). 2️⃣ Sports with Friends – A memory of playing a sport, like tennis. 3️⃣ Work at Your Desk – A scene from a specific day when you were focused on desk work. ■🔹 Now, refer to the illustration and practice freely resizing these spheres in mid-air. Let the beauty of the garden, the serenity of the space, and the vastness of the sky enhance your visualization. ■🔹 Through this exercise, you develop the ability to compactly store specific experiences, place them in spheres, adjust their size, and position them within a scenic space in an elegant, simplified manner. This lays the foundation for strengthening your memory. (More details to follow!) #KuritaMethod #MemoryTechniques #MemorySpheres #MemoryBalls #MemorySpatialization #CognitiveTraining

■ [Memory Technique] Remake Your Recalled Past Experiences 🔹 Kurita-Style Memory Technique is a systematic approach that organizes various memory-enhancing techniques using the 26 letters of the alphabet, resulting in 26 × 2 = 52 different methods. 🔹 Remake Method (R Method): Instead of simply reviewing the details of a memory, this technique involves “recreating and enhancing the vividness and impact of a recalled experience every time you revisit it.” 🔹 Step-by-Step Guide: 1.Start by casually recalling a past experience, such as a scene from when you were sitting in your elementary school classroom. 2.Normally, you would just examine the details and end the session there. However, with the Remake Method, you enhance the memory by creatively altering it. 3.In this example, decorate your favorite spot in the classroom with fresh flowers in your imagination. 4.The key is to commit to adding new flowers each time you recall this scene. 🔹 By doing this regularly, every time you revisit the memory, the scene becomes more vibrant and joyful, making the act of recalling it an enjoyable and enriching experience. #MemoryTechnique #KuritaStyleMemoryMethod #Remake

Spend a Day with Two Versions of Your Past Self ■• Let’s spend today with two versions of your past self. ■• Naturally, your “past experiences” have ended. But curiously, your “past self” hasn’t died. Your past self continues to live on within your current self, coexisting with who you are now. ■• If we extend this idea, it becomes clear that every version of your past self is alive within you. ■• That means the person you were 5 years ago, 10 years ago, and so on—all of them form a collective within you, facing today’s events together. ■• In a previous post, I suggested an exercise: imagine visiting a familiar park and placing your 5-year-old, 10-year-old, and 15-year-old selves there to meet each other in sequence, allowing for dialogue between them. ■• This time, here’s a new proposal: “Choose two specific ages from your past—let’s call them Self A and Self B—and spend the day with them. Observe what kinds of opinions, dialogues, insights, or discoveries arise. Witness the experiences and growth that emerge from this unique interaction.” #Self #Dialogue #MemoryTechnique #MeditationTechnique

■ Engage in a Dialogue with Your Past Self ■ Many people believe that their “past experiences” are over, and thus, their “past selves” ceased to exist at that point. However, this is a clear misconception. ■ The self that was involved in past events continues to live within you today, as you have survived those experiences. Therefore, understand that the collection of all your past selves—from 5 years ago, 10 years ago, and so on—is facing current events together. ■ To confront this reality, try recalling a familiar scene in a park and imagine placing your 5-year-old, 10-year-old, 15-year-old selves, and so on, at various spots every five years. As you stroll through the park, meet each past self in turn, engaging in questions, sharing opinions, and having a dialogue between your past selves and your current self. Experience the conversations that unfold. #Self #Dialogue #MemoryTechnique #Meditation
