Most people in Fresno donβt realize how significant The West Coast Relays (here in Fresno) were in US track history. I didnβt see it at the time, but now I feel blessed to be a part of it in the 90βs when it was still at Radcliffe. #missingtrack
#OnThisDay in 1956, two legends tied for 1st (2.06m/6-9.25) in the high jump at the West Coast Relays in Fresno, CA. Charlie Dumas, who became historyβs first 7-footer at the Olympic Trials, and the future @NBA Hall-of-Famer @RealBillRussell.
