Although today’s rainfall helped remove much of the remaining snow, Moore County is under a Winter Weather Advisory overnight and into the morning. As a result, Moore County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Thursday, February 5, to allow our drivers to operate safely in daylight. Please note that bus pickup times and school start times will be delayed by two hours from the usual schedule. Employees may report to work on their regular schedule if they deem it safe to do so, or follow the Inclement Weather Plan. Please reach out to your supervisor as needed. We will continue to monitor conditions overnight and will notify you by 7:00 a.m. if there are any changes. Following this afternoon's weather decision, we have received several concerns about travel conditions throughout our area. However, we are aware that our teams can't possibly assess every road in our county.
