Idaho big game draw results are out. First time ever I’ve been completely skunked on drawing something. My wife and BIL drew two elk tags so it’s not a total downer. I can also general muzzleloader hunt so we will fill the freezer this year.

Next time I’ll clean my lens first & look for better lighting.🤣🤣🤣 I’m a 1 & done type of guy. Also, all that retard has going for him is “production quality”. Are you going to extract the ball with a screw or shoot it to clear the muzzleloader?🤣

After hours of watching, waiting, and playing cat-and-mouse with a mature South Dakota buck, everything finally came down to one moment. From spotting the deer to getting set up for the shot, this hunt was a roller coaster from start to finish. In the end, Gina made an incredible 250-yard muzzleloader shot and capped off a hunt we'll be talking about for a long time. This is the entire story from first sighting to recovery. #WhitetailHunting #MuzzleloaderHunting #SouthDakota #DeerHunting #BigBuck #EveryInchCounts

My first memorable experience, was when my uncle offered to let us shoot his muzzleloader, I was 8 and my brother was 6. I declined but my brother had to try and ended up being blasted backwards on his ass to the laughs of the adults.

I was 8 years old. My neighbor had a flintlock muzzleloader rifle that was of the type used during the American Revolutionary War. We got to go through all the steps of loading and shooting it. Neighbor was kind enough to use small powder loads to reduce the kickback. 😉

It could work, however, the action itself would need to be much farther back. The realistic way of it looking would be similar to a modern inline muzzleloader. The hammer being on the tang, the action itself being brought very close to the users face. It could have a fast rpm number but the pressures would likely be the downfall of it. Interesting concept tho. It would be compact

The first gun I ever bought was a stupid .22 Long Rifle replica of the German StG-44, a piece of junk really. Now I own an automatic shotgun, a pump action shotgun, 2 AR-15s, a Glock 43X, a Glock 17 that I built, a 1911A1, a .22 Long Rifle revolver, and a .50 caliber muzzleloader

Sir, you need to be firing a modern inline muzzleloader with arpeture sights (scope if the state's law allows it!). There is no glory in missing that elk at 125 yards because you have inadequate equipment.

I used to go out in my own cable as I believe full camo with my bow and arrow compound style after I had a bad muzzleloader inline bad placement on a doe , first the spine , then the lower jaw as that doe deer looked me back into my eyes , and asked why

I do wish Missouri would change their muzzleloader season as it feels a bit like a slap in the face to have it the last two weeks of a 4 month

Hey there they are The real McCoys. Bunch of inbreds. Just give them each a muzzleloader in that picture and they look like they came out of the Ozark mountains. Oh and throw in a straw hat.

What a clown. A muzzleloader was once a “military-style” weapon. He fools no one.
