Everyone can play a role.
The overarching change that needs to happen is a mindset shift. However mindset shifts aren’t tackled head on, nor do they happen instantly. Rather they result from a multitude of concurrent efforts over time.
Some of these include:
- Regulatory work like what @euaccofficial,
@NotOptional,
@andreasklinger just to name a few are doing, engaging with policy makers to make Europe a better home for startups
- Ecosystem of VCs that invest in new and cutting edge technologies, not just copy paste what works already in the US, and LPs that invest in those VCs
- Successful founders like
@eldsjal,
@christianreber,
@filipdames etc. that are financing and supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs
- Initiatives like
@join_ef ,
@encodeclub,
@homedao and professors like
@will_wjk ,
@vee3my that educate students that starting companies is actually something they can do
- And finally the founders themselves that build companies and serve as examples that big things can emerge from Europe
