After attacking Labour's "$10-a-Week Bus Fare" idea just yesterday. Vehemently. National are running scared. Because actually helping regular people is popular with the public. National needs to keep giving $200 million to Big Oil to keep their corporate donor group happy, but they know they may finally have to do something to actually help people with crushing transportation costs during this cost of living crisis. For the sake of Whangārei people, I hope they do take Labour's idea and run with it: implement it even sooner than Labour's July 2027, and start helping people now. Fill yer boots.
