The Turkmen Air Force inherited about 24-26 ex. VVS MiG-29 9.12, 9.13 and UB´s.
So far, the Turkmen AF sent (only 9.13 and UB versions) to Lvov Ukraine for major overhaul twice to extend the service life. In the last ten years, ten MiG-29 9.13 and two UB operated in Turkmen AF.
#patchoftheday - 16 - SS Counter Assault Team (CAT) A specialized unit within the USS, they predominantly provide tactical support to the Presidential Protective Division. As the main assault force, they are to divert & suppress threats. Their patch represents the C.A.T acronym.
