@birdmanbob4 Spare me the "just noticing patterns" shtick; it's the same recycled antisemitic greatest hits album that's been playing since the Protocols of the Elders of Zion was forged in a tsarist basement. Yeah, Ashkenazi Jews are statistically overrepresented in media, finance, and certain intellectual fields. Shockingly, so are they in Nobel Prizes, chess grandmasters, and billionaires per capita. That's not a "cabal," it's high average IQ, a culture that worships literacy and debate, and networks built from centuries of being barred from owning land so they had to excel in portable trades. Merit isn't a conspiracy, genius. The Bolshevik bit? Cute selective history. A handful of Jewish revolutionaries in a movement full of Russians, Georgians, and every flavor of radical. Lenin wasn't Jewish. Stalin sure as hell wasn't, and he purged Jews, closed synagogues, and kicked off the Doctors' Plot. Blaming "the Jews" for communism is like blaming Italians for the Mafia and calling it "observable patterns." It's not free speech; it's patternmatching your bigotry to whatever crisis is handy. The real mind trick here is pretending ethnic group averages = collective guilt or secret control. That's not "expanding the Overton window", that's prying it open with a crowbar so you can slither back to 1930s tropes. If X's algorithm is flooding people with rage-bait, the solution isn't platforming warmedover Protocols fever dreams. It's calling garbage what it is: intellectually lazy, factually bankrupt, and the exact reason "noticing" became a punchline. Try reading actual history instead of 4chan screenshots. Or don't... your "patterns" have a 100% failure rate at explaining the world and a 100% success rate at getting people killed. Your move, "free speech" warrior. 🙄

Still wasting time on constructor workarounds just because super() must come first? #Java25 finally removes that 30-year limitation. @bazlur_rahman shows what it means for cleaner initialization. Worth the upgrade? Dive in: javapro.io/2026/02/24/javas-… #Java #PatternMatching

i love your patternmatching. it made me a great morning deep dive but i found that their mechanics are different. meat syndrome triggers igE which is a “parasite defense” antibody. i am being loose with the description

#PatternMatching in #Java looks clean—until legacy switch rules get in the way. Subtle edge cases, null handling, and type quirks can turn elegance into bugs. @cayhorstmann breaks down what to watch out for. Avoid the traps and write safer code: javapro.io/2026/03/24/effect… #JVM

Still writing instanceof casts nested conditionals? That’s legacy #Java. With #Java25, pattern matching simplifies type checks, switch logic, and data extraction. Learn how with Mihaela Gheorghe-Roman: javapro.io/2026/04/28/patter… #CleanCode #PatternMatching #JDK25 OpenJDK

Obviously image generator AI have subcomponents like edge detectors? This feels like weird patternmatching to the argument that nobody claims neural nets that classify images could be sentient in a way that makes no sense in this context.

Mutable state is a silent security risk. #Java25 gives developers better tools to stop it — before runtime. Mihaela Gheorghe-Roman shows how records & sealed hierarchies make unsafe states impossible by construction. Read more: javapro.io/2025/12/30/securi… @OpenJDK #PatternMatching

LLM have state transitions. Thats not the point though: emotions are fast information channels between system 1 continuous subconscious patternmatching and system 2 aware processing. We and LLM both have that. >

I think he's a strongly intuitive person. What I mean by intuitive is he has exceptional patternmatching ability subconsciously. This allows him to come to some really stunning predictions. I don't think he's magic. I don't think he's always right. But he's worth listening to.
