Have your students sit outside and record the cars that drive by. They can count by color, by make, by type (car, truck, SUV, van), w/e. Then make a table showing their data, and maybe even graph it if you dare to really challenge them #graphing#DataCollection#ProcessStandards

A thought: It's a great time to mix in "soft" science skills into your weekly lessons. Have your kids go outside, close their eyes and listen to nature for 5 minutes. No talking, no peeking. Just listen and draw what you hear. #Observation#ProcessStandards
