Theodore Illion was a traveler and a mystic who belonged to the Club of Rome. In the 1930s, he wrote a series of books describing his adventures in Tibet. Supposedly, he found an underground city where he accidentally discovered an ancient cult of cannibalistic occultists.
He claimed they were black Bonpa magicians, who telepathically meddled with earth’s affairs from beneath its surface. After Theodore uncovered them, they astrally attacked the traveler with demonic drones. Apparently,
these machines tried to steal his soul in his dreams.
Nevertheless, a Bonpa magician is someone who practices Bön, the oldest Tibetan religion. It predates Buddhism and claims to be the first belief system. But in many ways, Bön and Buddhism look the same. Yet, some Buddhists say Bön is corrupted and contains evil sects.
Practitioners of Bön believed in a Quaternity rather than a Trinity. They believed The God, The Mother, The Procreator, and The Teacher created the universe in a dualistic way. In other words, existence was made of two forces: light and darkness. Yet, darkness is not a force.
It is simply the absence of light. Similarly, evil is the absence of good, like coldness is the absence of heat. This is why dualism is a false doctrine. But I digress. They also believed the cosmos was inhabited by many lesser gods, goddesses, ghosts, spirits, and demons.
Some were good and some were bad. Many of these beings were at war with each other. So, the goal of Bön was to become enlightened and liberate one’s self from this cosmic drama. Apparently, there were several ways to do this, or The Nine Ways of Bön.
Because of this, it seems Theodore Illion probably wasn’t the first Westerner to cross paths with Bonpa magicians. Apparently, the Cathars and Knights Templar were influenced by Tibetan cults too. According to legend, they were channeling old gods they thought were angels.
Some say they had access to The Wooden Book of Montségur. This esoteric text was an “oracle” that could be used to contact The Nine Hidden Masters of Agartha. Like the black Bonpa magicians, these were enlightened occultists who lived in an ancient underground city.
The Cathars and Knights Templar would have learned about these things when they met merchants from the East. This is also how Rome found out about Mithras, the Eastern deity who turned soldiers into gods and freed them from the material world.
Interestingly, Mithras is where the name Metatron comes from. And John Dee was a Christian alchemist seeking answers from Eastern mystics when he learned about the Book of Enoch, which describes a man named Enoch transforming into an angel named Metatron.
This is why John Dee started channeling fallen angels and looking for ancient cities. It seems these occultists believe they can transform into enlightened angelic beings like Enoch did. Many Christians believe the Book of Enoch is true because the Bible mentions Enoch.
However, the Bible actually mentions two Enochs, one who was good and one who was evil. And the evil Enoch built an underground city that was destroyed during the Great Flood. Was this city Atlantis? Was it Agartha?
It seems Agartha is just another version of Atlantis, hence Hitler’s search for Atlantis in Tibet. Ironically, the Nazi SS was modeled after the Knights Templar. They were also inspired by Rome’s cult of Mithras!
It’s also interesting to note that the neo-gnostic founder of analytical psychology, Carl Jung, believed he had achieved self-individuation and transformed into Mithras. Jung considered himself a prophet for the Age of Aquarius, an era of peace and prosperity for occultists.
Supposedly, it will begin once humanity is freed from false religions and rebuilds Atlantis. Funny enough, Jung said the true religion would worship a Quaternity rather than a Trinity. It would include Satan! But for Jung, Satan wasn’t so bad. He was actually more like Sophia.
