When Microsoft via surveys, "science", discovered additional focus on improved tiered help desks did not improve customer satisfaction, they pulled back on help desk.
People were upset because they were under performance whippings and did not want problems.
Then, competition and deadlines, ended good pre release testing and customers became the product testors. Customer time costs are never monetized in the Six Sigma belief system.
Now take these processes and move them into AI? Just saying, our hopes are resting on the shoulders of politicians.
