This is a brilliant bit of work from @lewis_goodall and reflects the mood in British business as I hear it this week, as firms struggle with some of what was said about biz in Manchester...
This time last week, we welcomed thousands of Greater Manchester businesses and residents to the venue for #Progress21🔙
The event was split into three areas: Careers, Business and Global.
It's fantastic to think of how many important conversations happened under our roof! 👏🏼
Great to have members of our Social Enterprise team at last week's @GCProgressEvent#Progress21 event at Manchester Central, meeting different orgs, talking about our work and making new connections. Our first face to face event in a very long time!
I was really looking forward to celebrating the success of Progress over their 21 years. It was a fantastic evening; it was great to share the success with my colleagues. On a personal note, it was fantastic to receive recognition for my (nearly) 10 years at Progress. #Progress21
We're at #Progress21 today @mcr_central. Come and find us on Stand C44 to talk about #volunteering, #jobopportunities & being a TBBT member. We're also working with @Morrisons to help their recruitment drive locally - details on the stand or from hello@breadandbutterthing.org

Local credit unions will have a role to play in levelling up, providing honest and sustainable loans to those that need them 🤝#Progress21
“By rising now to the challenge of the climate crisis, we will solve the jobs crisis, the housing crisis, and we will give people better public transport.
“This is the route to levelling up.”

My message to #progress21 was that GM needs to have a deeper, honest conversation and questioning of economic growth. Where, for who and what type? The days of just saying we need growth and lopping on 'inclusive' as a prefix aint working for equity or planet #wellbeingeconomy
What would you like to see more of in our town centres? Green spaces, housing and restaurants were all on the table at the PROGRESS21 ideas session in Manchester (@GCProgressEvent)

ALT Two women, members of Together Trust staff, wearing purple Tshirts standing next to a man, the Mayor of Manchester, dressed smartly. Behind them there are colorful recruitment banners.
🤝 We had a great time yesterday networking and attending the seminars at #progress21 hosted by The Growth Company
The buzz felt like GM was getting back to “normal” and the key note speakers were truly inspirational.
