Teams shouldn’t try to be “the next Carolina” because drafting that well w/o high picks is nearly impossible. Most teams would just end up mid. However, teams should still draft for upside over size/projectability and hope to get a few steals to compliment their high picks (1/2)

CPX Top 25 PVAA/100 Leaders Minimum 20IP Zero surprise on my end that Sadbiel Delzine has the highest run prevention based on pitch count management. Add that to his Filth and his age & projectability and it's signaling must add territory. He's the real deal
Two exciting new metrics dropping tomorrow on PitchIQ 🖋 PVAA — pitcher count management. Out-of-sample ERA r=0.842. xRCP — hitter contact quality vs pitch difficulty. Predicts future EV (r=0.49) and ISO (r=0.34). Both validated. Both predictive. Full methodology published.

I don't think Flora's on the Giants' radar any longer. If they do go with a pitcher, it'll likely be Gio Rojas due to the projectability and fastball/slider combo. Think there's concern about how Flora's breaking pitches will translate to the pro level.

Absurd is right. Primera's been mostly pull side with his pop but damn for an 18 year old with this build projectability & production, it's exciting to say the least
Just to update, Franklin Primera was 2-3 today with another double. Now slashing .458/.596/.778 with 21 BB and 10K across 24 games. Pretty pretty absurd

Dominic Rynard (‘27 PA) filling up the zone with a mid 80s heater w/cut-ride T88. Pairs it well with a downer CB in the low to mid 70s. Athletic mover with projectability #UBCNE @NEPridebaseball

You people exaggerate so much. Mid 80s will always have a place in college ball. Anyone with pitchability and even a little projectability can be recruited D3/Juco at even low 80s and that will probably always remain true. Velo development will plateau

I had seen them both play on the Cape and was Crucified on X for suggesting sacrificing Anthony or Mayer over them. ACC/SEC/Cape experience over hs projectability every day of the week.

97 mph from the left side, w/ elite athleticism, frame projectability, slider, and delivery, changeup, and command. Gio Rojas looks REALLY special. PROSPX has him at #10/50 FV - even though HS arms are less stable than college arms, id personally rank him even higher than that

Oh, I am biased, but I’m also capable of looking at what we added vs what we needed and realizing we nailed our specific needs and that the tape or projectability is perfectly fine. I’m biased about the team, but tape doesn’t lie.

One of the top left-handed pitchers in the 2028 class. Projectability off the charts. Super athlete compete.
'28 LHP Rory Funke (MA) opens up at 87-88 & hides it well from a deceptive delivery. Mixing in CH & breaker. Pounding the zone and working fast, repeats mechanics well. #JrNational @PG_NewEngland @PG_Uncommitted

Solomon Wegmeyer ('27,MI)⚡️ 6'3" 220lb frame, built lower half; compact H 3/4 slot that works. Controlled tempo through the delivery w/ high intent down the slope w/ lower half - keeps hand speed through arsenal. FB explodes out of his hand w/ life through the zone, paired w/ good shaped SLV that tunnels well. Extremely high follow #Uncommitted arm that shows more projectability in the future - dominate performance through 3 IP; poised presence the entire time. @25Mason_Young is a big time athlete (QB1) standing at 6’4. Will be a steal for someone as the projectability is through the roof.
