Years ago TBTT was asked to give GBV-awareness-raising sessions to budding sysadmins & web developers in some computer schools - none had any concept of encryption nor privacy & their ethical responsibility in handling client data. #push4encryption early on!

Q1 #Push4Encryption I realized the importance of encryption when we started getting stories from some government officials that security agencies were reading the emails of activists and possibly tapping their phone calls. That for me was lost of privacy.
