What a legend Ed Whitlock was! 3hrs 56 marathon at 85 y/o. He died 5 months later from prostate cancer 1wk after his 86th birthday.
Phenomenal athlete with so many WR inc being first man 70 to run a sub 3hr marathon (2:54 aged 73).
