I’d love the capability of an EV truck for towing and so on. But the efficiency question and associated cost keeps me finding ways to cover my use cases with my Model 3. Roof racks, top boxes, ShiftPod tent vs trailer, etc.

Inaugural Shiftpod Mini outing Wednesday night camping in Death Valley. Love it.
DV lived up to its name, seeing temps nearly 15 degrees lower than the area forecast. Ice on the ground when we awoke.
Didn’t have the right bags for such low temps and was cold, but safe. 🏜️

I've camped 3 times now; twice in shiftpod & once in RV & in my opinion, RV camping is the way to go! Specifically with a power hook up so you can keep the A/C on 24/7! Absolute game changer to escape the heat!

Went to a family members graduation 7 hours away this weekend. All this fits in the back of a Tesla Model Y. Queen size bed, AC and heater, $30 a night for a campsite with restrooms and power. Hotels were going for $400 a night so this was a sweet alternative.

For sure! For whatever reason people in the Shiftpod Facebook group get all surprised and upset when they get mildew on tents they pack away wet. This is something you’ve gotta do with every tent.

Gotta dry them before packing up. We got a downpour just a few hours before leaving so now the Shiftpod is sitting in the garage with a heater blowing at it till totally dry.

We love our shiftpod survived below freezing and 50 mph winds with 70 gust. And yes customer service is next level. The only downside side is mold in these tents.
