I would love to own a kit-house factory with a wood laminating machine. Structure is the most beautiful part of a good building. I'm talking arches, vaults, spaceframes. But residential wood-framed homes are structurally hideous. They are hodgepodges.

These short-lift shuttles often serve far longer than their corporate owners intended, due to robust spaceframes and highly modular engine components. #art #spaceship #drawing

They can sell ship paints, armor and weapon skins then. I'm sick of variants, give us spaceframes with modular sections.

And yet the FIA thinks it's silly spaceframes are the right direction for the sport 🀣

Lancia is going to be very busy fulfilling orders for its new Rally2 car 😳 It's no easy task; it takes two weeks to prepare each chassis before bolting anything into it πŸ› οΈ

The speed of construction has raised eyebrows, with suspicion that the Vestan military may have under-reported its stockpile of starbase spaceframes available for rapid deployment. Once fully operational, the new districts will be capable of supporting a sizable fleet.

B-52WD. 37 are still around for the upgrade, though Starfleet is considering activating 10 retired airframes, er, spaceframes from the Mars 903rd SMARG boneyard to increase the fleet.

The Alchemy-Class starship was a post Dominion-War Starship. Designed for long term exploratory mission. The Alchemy-Class integrated many systems the USS Voyager had perfected or even created while in the Delta Quadrant. The first ship of the class USS Alchemy NX 92000 left the Utopia Planitia Shipyards in 2382 for her successful shakedown cruise. However only two of the class were launched, as in 2385 rogue synthetics attacked Mars, destroying the shipyards there and the 4 Alchemy-Class spaceframes that were under construction. Coming in at a length of bang on 900 meters. The Alchemy-Class housed 21 decks and was crewed by anything between 800 to 1,000 officers and crewmen. The vessel's maximum warp safe speed was a warp factor of 9.985 with an Emergency speed of warp factor 9.999 for 72 hours. Armed with Phaser banks. Photon and Quantum Torpedoes lunches. The Alchemy-Class was also armed with an experimental weapon called "The Warp Laser" which was very similar in design to the Deflector weapon used by the USS Enterprise-D used against a Borg cube in 2367. The ship had standard shielding, as well as an experimental temporal shield (so the vessel could examine temporal anomalies safely) and hull armour similar to the Defiant-Class. The ship came with four shuttle bays, with shuttlebays one and two being used by bigger shuttles and runabouts, and three and four used by shuttlepods and worker bees. The ship also had a garden deck, and rec deck. It also had an astrometric lab similar to the one the USS Voyager. The Alchemy-Class was in service form 2382-2440. leading a multi-year mission in exploring the Gamma Quadrant between 2395-2420 The Serving Starfleet in it's primary mission of deep space exploration. and making a name for itself in Starfleet History. @StarfleetDreams #StarTrek @TAS_Youtube

Spaceframes and mandated mechanical configurations. Really doesn't appeal to me. Just moving billboards. They're missing the point of why people watch. It's relatable cars performing in ways you'd never think possible in amazing places.

It's tricky to do a lot right now and probably better to focus on 2027. Compact Dynamics should probably be told to do one though, as the hybrid system has been a disaster since day one. Then just work towards 2027 on a Rally2-based ruleset. No more spaceframes, production...1/2

Some spaceframes have entirely internal warp engines β€” some of the lighter classes of Klingon warship, for example. Most mount them in an external housing (nacelle). The nacelle(s) may or may not be mounted on (an) outboard pylon(s).

Yeah. Hard to do some jobs dangling from a catwalk. My guess is that the TIEs' spaceframes are rated for a certain amount of hours to sit on their wings, or they can reduce gravity on those pads with repulsorlift tech to decrease strain.

These vessels would largely be phased out as dreadnoughts in late 2409; replaced with Odyssey, Galaxy-X, and Yamato-Class designs. However the remaining spaceframes were reconfigured to serve as super-carriers, which saw some use during Tzenkethi skirmishes in 2410.

its why spaceframes are so large, their programs understand their need for mass and movement control as well as the harsh conditions they must survive in and though most fliers dont get titan-size with proper fuel and near constant antigravity exposure they can grow exponentially
