I didn't want to make this post about
@GetReachxyz, but
@HichDotEth has left me no choice.
@HichDotEth was our developer that we paid to build out
@Engagertool - spending tens of thousands of dollars!
A little over a month ago, excuses started pouring in and execution dropped. All of a sudden, the trial period was up and the man wouldn't respond.
We were left in a position with many issues that lead to tens of thousands in further costs due to his incompetence. I give credit where it's due and the app was great, but we were left with our pants down and many flaws.
When those delays started occurring, that's when
@HichDotEth had gotten a new role, which I was very supportive of. Recently, I came to find out that it was
@GetReachxyz.
Today I found out that the same thoughts, ideas, functions and systems would be implemented within
@GetReachxyz.
I congratulate and push builders in the space, but when dirty moves like this take place. It really hurts as a builder trying to build something original.
I do not blame the
@GetReachxyz team, as you gotta do what you gotta do in business, but I do not endorse what
@HichDotEth has done. As I am writing, he has now blocked me on X.
This post is just highlighting things that I learn in WEB3. This tool and community is very close to my heart as we've spent over 10 months building this out. It hurts to see things like this happen.
To any founders & builders - make sure you have the right contracts in place with all contractors.
Sometimes, people can be real assholes. Luckily, we had a contract and I will be taking this further with our lawyers to protect the
@FunApes_NFT &
@Engagertool community.
