What a curious question I asked in the past. I assume I was playing off some notion of Self Made or Reimagined Self within the Thirdspace. Using Sandra Bullock as a reference icon being that at the time she was being conjured up in the media at the today. But, mostly considering her work as Angela Bennett in the Net.

Toilets opening directly out onto general public spaces are disgusting. They remove a layer of privacy and dignity and hygiene. And they compromise the enjoyment of a space.
Single occupancy mixed sex cells behind another door pose obvious dangers.
These hermetically sealed floorinals are simply not fit for purpose.
I don’t know why so many women are actively promoting Thirdspace toilets in an appeal to remedy at the behest of men’s demands.
(Obviously there will be physical situations where it’s the only option, eg wheelchair access in small spaces. That is not the issue here)
