After living in filth for their entire lives, the dogs who survive Marshall BioResources are hauled off to labs where they’re abused & killed in gruesome experiments 💔
We know the plight of so many beagles. First, experimented and tested on and left forever scarred and changed. Most of the testing by the federal government but now, the beagles you're about to see, are getting a second chance at life and it's all thanks to Beagle Freedom Project.
Around 200 dogs and cats previously used for toxicity testing of flea and tick medications were rescued from a research facility in Nowata County by the Beagle Freedom Project. Shannon Keith, the organization's president, aims to transform the facility into a sanctuary for the animals, providing them with love and care they have never experienced before. The Beagle Freedom Project collaborated with the lab's owner to purchase the property and take custody of the animals. The research facility, licensed and inspected by the USDA until September of the previous year, faced issues such as failure to document medical treatment and neglect of injured animals. The new owners plan to create comfortable living conditions for the animals and offer them a safe transition to freedom. Despite attempts to contact Riner and Associates, the previous owners, they could not be reached for comment.
