Yesterday, I had the joy of visiting the “Berwa Neza” Basket Weavers Cooperative — a group of incredible women whose hands tell stories of strength, resilience, and hope. 💛 Through Shelter Them’s training program, these women learned weaving and business skills, and today they’re producing beautiful baskets and handmade crafts ready for both local and international markets. Our Canadian team couldn’t resist — we purchased several pieces on the spot, and we’re already planning for more orders to help these women reach economic independence and dignity through their work.
