I have failed 4 times in Flipkart Interview,
it was once my dream company.
But Today,
one of my students texted me,
"Hey Akshay, can't tell you how happy I am. Flipkart gave me an offer and that too with a dream salary. This would have not been possible without your in depth videos of JS as well as React. Thank you once again, you're the best!"
This message made me so emotional. 🥺
You know, when I left my job and decided to teach full time, I was so afraid.
But now when I look back,
I feel that, it was the best decision of my life. ❤️
Messages like this, just make my day even more beautiful. 😌
BTW, I also asked him about the latest interview process.
There were 5 rounds for `UI Engineer - 2` position:
- Machine Coding - 1.5 hours
- Problem Solving & Data Structure - 60 min
- Web/UI Tech / JavaScript core - 60 Mins
- Product Sense - 60 mins
- Hiring Manager Round - 60 mins
Major topics asked:
0. JavaScript - Closures, Event Loop, Promises, Async Await, Error Handling
1. React - Hooks, Redux Architecture, Performance, Lazy Loading, Context API, WebHooks, Life Cycle of Hooks
2. Data Structures - A 2D array question (easy) , Tree question
3. A lot of questions from my past projects and most challenging problems solved while building them
4. In Machine coding round time was less, so had to code fast and make it working
Hope this will help everyone who is preparing for frontend interviews.
For me, I was so happy to know that Namaste JavaScript and Namaste React helped him so much in his interviews. Feels like all the efforts I put into teaching is worth it. ❤️ 🙌
IDK why, but I am feeling so weirdly happy,
"What I couldn't crack 5 years back, today my students are cracking!" 😅
So happy for him and feeling super proud. 😎
Cheers,
Akshay Saini
