Further adventures in "I can't get the NT$6000 for some reason". Post Office this morning: "Computer says no". Called the 1988 hotline. My case is in the waiting list and they will call back ... I bet it's b/c my APRC numbers on NHI Card and APRC card are different. #updatehell

So now @SamsungMobile wants me to allow the Samsung Health app the ability to "make and deny phone calls"
WTH does it need that to track steps or time my workout sessions?
If I can't find a less restrictive app, I'll go back to pen & paper.

Currently evaluating FreeNAS hooked into ldap for authentication of user accounts as a replacement file server if OES becomes too expensive to continue with. Windows servers are too fraught with risk to consider. #malware #ransomware #updatehell

Running VMs for specific purposes is awesome. For instance I run @adobe products in a VM because I hate all the poop they install on my computer, and I can shut it ALL down whenever I want. The biggest downside though, they do eat up a lot of time repeating updates. #UpdateHell
