Such a weird post. Why are you showing photos of Roots Hall and a US high school facility? That is Tom Benson Stadium in Ohio...the home of the Canton McKinley High School Football Team. Roots Hall seats ~12,000 people. It is a great place to play soccer. The US has many great places to play games. However, FIFA requires a minimum of 40,000 seats for matches (60K for semis and 80K for the opening and final). We are using big stadiums now to accommodate as many visitors as possible (with the very best amenities). People should be thanking us. Sure, there are many better "soccer facilities" here...but this is the World Cup. We are using 11 facilities in the US for this World Cup. The average seating capacity is 70,000. You only have three in all of the UK that seat at least 70K - Wembly, Old Trafford and Principality (rugby)... big ugly modern stadiums, just like ours.
