Fantastic news to end the week - @hackneycouncil are making the Hackney Downs LTN permanent. Itโs been transformational for the area. Now we can build on the achievement, with new public spaces where there used to be traffic

Plans are out for some improvements to Northwold Rd and @hackneydownsltn. At @hackney_cycling we spent a lot of effort mapping where cycle #Gateways were needed. One of the locations is right here. But the proposals ignore it. Can we discuss please? @metecoban92 @carowoodley

Removing through-traffic doesnโt prevent people from accessing places by car. But it encourages high rates of walking and cycling, and more considerate driving. @hackneydownsltn

Hi @hackneycouncil and @alastairis I fail to understand why there is no enforcement of the Benthal Road LTN -- I see cars going through the filter constantly and even during school street hours. This morning in just a few minutes 4 vehicles went through just after 09:00.

Failure to fix Stean Street bollards rewards least law abiding, most entitled and most dangerous drivers. This is undermining the whole LTN & putting people at risk. Hundreds of cars a day going through. Please put us back and this time lock us down! @hackneycouncil @metecoban92
