Today is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which recognizes the critical need to safeguard the rights of those living with disabilities, ensuring their full, equal, and effective participation in society.
#QueensU researchers across disciplines are working to break down barriers and enhance accessibility through projects like one that brings together Queen’s engineers, occupational therapists, and students to provide adapted toy cars to children with disabilities.
