Kalani Sitake talking about the seniors. “These guys are great spiritual men. They have a testimony and belief in the gospel of Jesus Christ. We get to celebrate Christ’s birth around this time. I’m really thankful I get to be around faithful men. These guys have taught me a lot and I’m still learning.”

What a night of LIGHT! Best way to start the season—focusing on the light of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and serving others as He did. The #LightTheWorld Giving Machines will be on campus through Christmas (Wilkinson Student Center & Marriott Center). #BYU150

If I can be vulnerable for a moment, I was one of the students who faced food insecurity while at UC, and the on-campus food pantry made a huge difference for me. A ton of respect, and a big shoutout to @BYU for their incredible donation!
Before BYU's game against Cincinnati, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints donated 27,000 pounds of food to UC's on-campus food pantry. It's the biggest donation in the history of the pantry, which supports students facing food insecurity.

President Dallin Harris Oaks (@oaksdallinh) was announced today as the 18th President and Prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The announcement was made during a live broadcast from Salt Lake City, Utah. President Oaks was sustained and set apart today, October 14, 2025.   In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the prophet is chosen through a divinely inspired process. When the prophet passes away, the First Presidency is dissolved, and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, led by the longest-serving Apostle, assumes leadership, confirming the new Prophet through revelation and priesthood authority. President Oaks, 93, succeeds President Russell M. Nelson, who passed away September 27, 2025. The new leader of a global faith of more than 17 million members has called President Henry B. Eyring (@eyringHB), 92, and President D. Todd Christofferson (@ChristoffDTodd), 80 to serve with him as first and second counselors in the First Presidency, the Church’s highest governing body.   President Oaks also announced that President Jeffrey R. Holland (@hollandjeffreyr), 84, will be the President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. newsroom.churchofjesuschrist…

“As one of the special witnesses of the name of Christ in all the world, I testify that He is the Son of the living God. Jesus is the Christ—our atoning Savior and Redeemer. This is His Church, restored to bless God’s children and to prepare the world for the Second Coming of the Lord.” —Russell M. Nelson (1924–2025).

"You’re going to experience adversity and difficult times. You’re in it, congratulations. You’re seeking the Divine design set for you. Heartbreak means you’re a step closer to finding true love, struggles in school means you’re learning new skills, struggling financially means you’re learning how to budget and will be thankful and humble when more compensation arrives. If you didn't get the job, it only means something better is coming. God knows. And good times are ahead." - Kalani Sitake #BYUDevo
