My actual thoughts on race: I live in a "Black neighborhood". Rent is cheap, so I did out of necessity. Prior to this, I was still clinging onto my childhood utopianism. Most of my neighbors are decent people; they go to Church, they are polite, they return mail, they even visit after the last hurricane to offer water. But mostly, we don't interact, by their choice. I don't think Black people, means bad people. But what I have also come to understand, very quickly, is that to them, their people come first. Justice isn't blind, not all situations are equal, and though they celebrate the same 4th of July, it has a different meaning to them. They absolutely will choose their own, over a White man, in any situation. Almost all compromises on this (apologizing for kids dropping trash on the lawn or convincing somebody to return a stolen mower), have been out of fear of me calling the police. Now of course, plenty of White people do bad things. There are bad White neighbors, White criminals, White assholes. But the difference between intratribal and intertribal interactions is very clear. The culture is different, the attitudes are different, the sense of justice is different. Most importantly, again, they also tribe up on conflicts of interest. So no, I don't think other races are bad. But I no longer believe, as I did when I was young, that integration works at scale. Nor do I believe, as I did when I was young, that people are colorblind. Only White people were, on any real level, and could afford to be, until we couldn't.

I’m so tired of this shit. Shut the fuck up. Be honest. Be serious. Stop fucking crying and trying to make every single thing about race. He fucking stabbed someone and now he’s going to prison for murder. He obviously wanted to stab him too. That’s why he was being annoying and that’s why he brought a knife with him.

What I'm about to say is going to be cast as "racist." It isn't. What I am about to explain is simply a very troubling reality. During my lifetime (I'm 53 years old) white men have murdered about 20,000 black people. That is horrible. And every white person I know would demand justice for the perpetrator. Everytime. We do not want violent people living among us. And, if the evidence is overwhelming, most of the people in my community would want to see him hung on the courthouse steps that day. That's the kind of justice that built our country and it is the kind of justice we need today, more than ever. During my lifetime, black men have murdered at least 55,000 white people. Go ahead, fact check me. And, keep in mind, black men are, at most, 7% of the population. In terms of violent crime, there is nothing like them in America. They are an almost unbelievably violent outlier. But never in my experience, has the black community EVER demanded justice for any of these killings. Not one time, not ever. Not just O.J. and Karmelo -- none of them. Not a single one. They hate white people. And they want to kill us all. That is exactly why we should FIND A ROPE. We need massive criminal justice reform, including allowing juries to decide that when the evidence is overwhelming, the defendant should be strung up immediately outside the courtroom. Find a rope. That is the only language they understand. The other reform we must have is preventing violent felons from ever getting out of prison. If you're convicted of a serious violent felony -- aggravated assault, attempted murder, rape, etc. -- you should stay in prison forever. Mercy is for the victims. Not for the animals.
