In the presence of Mr Speaker, we marked St Patrickās Day and commemorated the 1768 rebellion, a defining moment in Montserratās history.
Bringing together the diaspora and friends of Montserrat, the ceremony reflected the strength of our culture, from masquerade to poetry to song.

Their scientists told us about the island's history and the challenges of dealing with the active volcano in SoufriĆØre Hills.

First up, we met our partners in the Royal Montserrat Defence Force. š²šø
We delivered their new camouflage uniforms and arranged a joint training exercise.
The RMDF is more than 120 years old and has a long history of providing disaster relief.
