Major career cheat code: Be the person who can figure it out. You’ll be handed tasks you have no idea how to complete. There's nothing more valuable than someone who can just figure it out. Do some work. Ask key questions. Get it done. If you do that, people will fight over you.

got a new perspective on life today
was going to my office on the 35th floor. elevator hit full speed, then just stopped at the 10th. electricity went out. complete darkness. spent 20 minutes stuck in there with only the lift operator.
i am a changed man. i see things differently now.
