Hard, direct, critical feedback related to inequity is an invaluable gift, not an affront. It should be received with gratitude. In most organizations leaders view that feedback as an affront and reward silence and complicity with inequity, often under the guise of "community."

In reality the root of this fraud feeling is a result of systematic bias & exclusion! & rather than naming that, society aka the academy found another term to cover it up & name the experiences of marginalized communities that places blame on the person rather than the system
