An SF mom is launching a new Asian American doll after struggling to find one for her daughter.
Toy stores have released some Asian American models, but many still use white dolls' molds and rely on stereotypes, @hellojillybing founder Elenor Mak said.

Have you had a stinky lunchbox moment? I didn't grow up with it (well, I did but it was bologna) -- but I've experienced it so much in my adult life!
This is just one reason more #veryasian folks are writing kids' books about food -- to build acceptance and belonging...earlier.
