Families come in all shapes, sizes, and even varying levels of “relation.” I couldn’t be prouder to be part of this cast and crew family. They’ll make you laugh and cry… and @EricAndre will make you often do both. So excited for everyone to see #LittleBrother on @netflix June 26!

The headline says… a lot, but there is much, much more in store for #LittleBrother. We all learned a lot along the way (mostly about Eric’s anatomy). Cannot wait for you all to see and hopefully laugh when it comes to @Netflix on June 26. Thank you @EW for the first look! ew.com/eric-andre-blows-up-j…

First look at ‘LITTLE BROTHER’, starring John Cena and Eric André. The comedy film follows a man that tries to reconnect with the volunteer from his mentoring program Big Brother/Little Brother after 20 years. Releasing June 26 on Netflix.

I don't see much value in removing Kristi Noem if Miller & budget remains. ICE is the most well-funded US law enforcement agency. What's the next DHS Sec going to do just tell the agents to put their thumbs up their ass? Taking their funding away is the only meaningful answer.

RT @AFStreamWatch: Stabilised version. One officer takes the gun from the guys holster. Then a second later another officer shoots him…

Left hand on the ground trying not to hit the pavement; right hand still holding a cell phone. ICE person standing with a one handed grip pointing his gun right at the man’s head. There is nothing about this that we should accept. We all must reject this. This is our government

This is not how copyright works, it's not how copyright has ever worked. In what world is it okay to say, "I'm going to use this unless you tell me not to." THAT'S WHAT THE COPYRIGHT IS FOR.

Every single theater operator I've talked to since 2023 has told me they are seeing the youngest audiences they've ever seen. Notably, this is especially an observation from indie/arthouse cinemas.

Reese Witherspoon says Hollywood will "change radically" in order to adapt to the "shifting" attention spans of younger audiences: "Kids don’t go to the movies. Usually, people are seeing one movie a year in the theaters with their kids. You’ve got to go where the audience is, not lament the fact that they didn’t show up or have what I call ‘old-school-itis,’ which is like, Well, in my day. Well, it just doesn’t work that way!" variety.com/2025/tv/news/ree…

But if you actually want to defeat Trumpism you have to trade neoliberal corporatism for class war. You have to defeat fascism in the same way FDR defeated fascism: with social democracy, an aggressive working class agenda and by forcefully bringing to heel the corporate elites and economic royalists who have rigged the system against workers for decades. Otherwise Dems will forever be as impotent against Trumpism as Plouffe and co.

The war in the dem party right now is basically between capitulating to the basic Trumpian worldview (immigrants, trans people, cultural elites are the enemy) or offering a different left populist class war frame. There are heavy incentives for Democrats to just offer a softer Trumpism. The donors get to keep their stuff, the establishment pols get to keep their positions and the consultants get to keep their contracts. And offering a kinder gentler fascism, the Dems may even still be able to win elections.

The trend of politicians reporting things to us like they’re journalists and not politicians with power to do anything about it needs to end. I mean Joe Biden is president right now, go talk to your boss and ask him what he plans on doing about it. You’re a senator, do something!
Donald Trump and his transition team are already breaking the law. I would know because I wrote the law. Incoming presidents are required to prevent conflicts of interest and sign an ethics agreement. This is what illegal corruption looks like. cnn.com/2024/11/09/politics/…

The AI bubble is a story of waste, ignorance and greed, and proves big tech no longer has the capacity to innovate. This has been a $200 billion distraction from their inability to solve real problems- and it’s time to fire Satya Nadella and Sundar Pichai. wheresyoured.at/burst-damage…

This is bullshit. I watched all the films I actually wanted to watch when I had video stores to go to. Now I can't find anything I'm looking for on the streamers I subscribe to and must go to Apple to rent films, only to often find what I'm after isn't available there either.
Streaming is a modern marvel that allows us to watch more shows and movies than any old Blockbuster could hope to stock. But somehow, the act of consuming content has never felt more frustrating than it does today, writes @cwarzel. theatlantic.com/technology/a…
