It seems these companies sign the pledge to keep @luhc happy but then are slowing things down as much as possible to avoid fulfilling their responsibilites. Meanwhile every day that goes by is another day of living in unsafe buildings!

What is this? Seen over Chelmsford, UK, 30 mins ago. Not a plane, travelling good speed from north to south. Probably 5-10k ft up. Brilliant white glow, orb shape, brightest light in the sky. #UFOSightings #UFO

Part of me (the generous part) thinks you knew all too well the implications of this, but couldnt bare seeing Labour rise in the polls. Just start your own party and see how popular your policies are. You won't? Oh I wonder why. @AyoCaesar @OwenJones84
Labour banging on about a party 12 months ago at Downing Street? Not as bad as wallpaper but nobody cares - why on Earth did they stop the attacks on HS2 and public transport when they had a direct line to 'red wall' seats? Is it because people outside Westminster cared? #PMQs
Eveytime there is some positive development with #EndOurCladdingScandal, its largely buried by news of a Boris/govt scandal. Today was an example of this. However, perhaps it could be a blessing if Tories want a quick win before xmas to END THE CLADDING SCANDAL @michaelgove

Really disappointed this didnt get any question at #PMQs today. Yes, there was one hell of a story but its actually hard not to believe the opposition over killed it by playing party politics. All 6 questions @Keir_Starmer ? #EndOurCladdingScandal
Please @Keir_Starmer ask a question about the Grenfell/govt apology surely meaning LHs should now be protected from costs!? I know you have a plate full with ammo, but this is still much bigger than any xmas party. #claddingscandal #PMQs

Our statement following the Government's opening submission at the @grenfellinquiry today. PM Johnson, Chancellor Sunak and Secretary of State Gove must finally accept that the first responsibility of government is to protect and safeguard the lives of its citizens.

Grenfell Inquiry “We’re deeply sorry”: Government apologises for tragedy Building regulatory system “failed”, Department of Housing lawyer admits “If you’re sorry, put your money where your mouth is”, say cladding campaigners

Government's Grenfell apology: "We're "deeply sorry". Building regulatory system "failed", the Inquiry hears. But for victims, and the thousands still living in dangerous homes, they want action not words. @RagsMartel reports

There surely must be a sense of govt's apology being mutally exclusive to LHs burdening costs. How can govt now not protect LHs with this latest admission of guilt? #EndOurCladdingScandal bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lo…

Unless Gove plans to amend the Building Safety Bill to protect leaseholders in law from the costs of fixing historic defects this is ultimately just more hot air. Of course developers must do more, but blameless leaseholders are being hit with bills NOW. thetimes.co.uk/article/micha…

Today I confronted the Sec of State for Housing on the Leasehold scandal. Many thousands of homeowners are unfairly paying for remedial costs for homes that weren't built safely, hitting them with spiralling costs & trapping them in unsellable homes. shorturl.at/jzCDW

Does anyone know the best way to obtain building schematics (to see where fire breaks etc should have been installed)? And what to do if mging agent cant provide them? @EOCS_Official @LiamSpender

While Labour MPs use this joke on Tory MPs, and vice versa, the good old corbynistas still aim the canon at their own ship 🙈

The Cladding U-Turn- Govt declares flats unsafe. Saleability diminishes Govt declares flats as safe. Govt saves treasury money. Got it?
