I'm done indie hacking. I don't have the energy for it any more, and it doesn't energize me like it used to. It also doesn't feel like a real path to financial freedom. If I got a product to $10k MRR, it would still be much less than my FT job, not to mention biz expenses. However, this doesn't mean I'm done creating. The difference is that I'm going to create for fun now and work on things I find interesting, whether monetized or not. AI is advancing at such a rapid clip that I don't want to build AI products that will be obsolete in a year anyway.

We're still at the beginning of AI tooling. Most AI projects will die due to being undifferentiated. But there's a lot of fertile ground for the brave.

I've tried two directory listing services. One was manual, the other was automated. My advice: 🚫 Don't use them. Why not? 3️⃣ main reasons: - They don't drive traffic like they promise - They barely increase your domain authority - You give up control over something incredibly valuable 👉 Here's what you should do instead: - Make a list of platforms to launch on (@UneedLists, @MicroLaunchHQ, @theresanaiforit, etc) - Pay for the premium package for more exposure - Spread out your launches so you can practice your copywriting and positioning - Focus on quality over quantity It's much more valuable to be impressive on one platform than mediocre on 100.

I noticed a big uptick in the number of temporary emails registering for Hypertxt recently. These were being used to abuse the freemium plan. So, I implemented UserCheck (.) com to block these emails. It took about 30 minutes. Highly recommended. #buildinpublic
