Artisanal & High-Impact Emblem Branding
f Emblem and Badge Design, specifically curated for brands that want to blend tradition with a modern, high-impact aesthetic. This collection showcases my work for several culinary and urban-focused brands: Uptown Gruene, Baker Stories, Cataias Bakehouse, and Wildflour Bakery.
The Design Concept
For this series, the goal was to create "contained" identities—logos that function as standalone seals of quality.
Uptown Gruene: I leaned into a vibrant, 80s-inspired retro aesthetic using bold gradients and a sharp skyline silhouette. The goal was energy and urban movement.
Baker Stories & Cataias: These required a softer, more human touch. I used friendly character illustrations and delicate line work to evoke the warmth of a local bakehouse.
Wildflour Bakery: This mark focuses on organic elegance. By combining detailed botanical illustrations with a clean, circular frame, the logo communicates freshness and artisanal craft.
Technical Highlights
Typography: A strategic mix of custom hand-drawn scripts for "flavor" and structured sans-serifs for legibility.
Versatility: Each emblem was designed to look just as good on a high-resolution storefront sign as it does stamped on a kraft paper pastry bag.
Color Strategy: I utilized a palette ranging from nostalgic neons to warm, appetizing "bakery" pastels to drive immediate brand recognition.
