1/ @FedEx @FedExHelp I reported a suspected scam delivery to protect myself. What followed was a masterclass in how NOT to handle fraud. #FedExFail #Fraud 🧵

3/ All it takes is: pick up the phone, flag the package, contact the shipper, investigate, cancel — within hours. Instead your broken process makes you complicit in delivering fraud to your own customers. Fix this. Promptly? #FedExFail #Fraud

2/ Got transferred 3 times including to a supervisor. No cancellation. Won’t verify the sender. Can’t put a hold on a package still sitting at origin. Your solution? “Call the shipper yourself.” You told a scam victim to call the scammer. Let that sink in.

Triple digit temps in CA and the grids are stressed to the point where consumers are asked to not charge their EVs, run ACs etc etc. When covid hit, health systems were stressed like never before. But, let’s go to Mars or Moon.

Genuine friendship is not based on money and power, but on trust, which in turn develops as a result of showing concern for other people’s well-being. In other words, friendship is founded on warm-heartedness.

React 16.6 is hot off the presses! 😱 – React.memo (like PureComponent but for function components) – React.lazy (code splitting powered by Suspense) – .contextType in class components reactjs.org/blog/2018/10/23/…

I was rejected for a job by @TwitterEng years ago, even tho I knew several people on the team who liked me & wanted me to join. I was later told by HR that one of the interviewers said I "didn't know JS" very well. That was part of the motivation for @YDKJS. #ShareYourRejections

Someone was recently telling me they were a "Code Ninja". I don't want to work with a Ninja, they leave a bloody mess. I want to work with a "Code Janitor". Comes in the middle of the night, cleans things up, you only know they were there because everything is organized and tidy.
