People who are 'anti-regime' also want to eat, to not die, to look for jobs to replace the ones they have lost, to access medications, to not fear taking kids to school. Perhaps they also want peace and their country intact. Perhaps they will not describe themselves, when they wake up tomorrow, as losers.

Yes. In the sense that thousands of men, women and schoolchildren Iranian and 13 American servicemen and women died, the purchasing power of westerners was diminished, Iranian infrastructure was destroyed and the longer term effects of a war heavily promoted by Israel under Netanyahu is unknown.
Not a single stated goal in going to war was accomplished. Historic failure indeed. Sorry.

For the last 9 years many of us said Trump ripped up the JCPOA because he just wanted his own name on a deal.
He never cared about Iranians. He barely cares about his own children.
The Iranian people lose in all of this. This is why they feel they have no allies & no support.

Highly unlikely terms are being reported by Axios as to what the MOU contains:
"The U.S. will commit to discuss sanctions relief and the release of frozen Iranian funds, with relief expected to be tied to Iran's compliance."
That's ridiculous, Iran is not about to open the Strait for "maybe's".
This is a MAJOR question mark on my end as to either the legitimacy of the reported terms, or whether or not this will even truly be agreed to.
